Bruce Rabik

Bruce Rabik is a seasoned executive in the insurance industry, having served as COO of Rogers Insurance since 2003, and continuing in that capacity with Acera since the 2022 merger. With a rich background spanning over three decades in the sector, Bruce has established himself as a leader in insurance and risk management, providing strategic guidance and operational excellence at Acera. His convictions have been crucial in building and maintaining the largest independent, employee-controlled brokerage in Canada, with more than 1,200 employees in over 60 offices across the country, including over 650 employee-owners.

Bruce holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration. He began his career in the insurance industry in the late 1980s, ascending through various roles due to his expertise, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to client service. His extensive experience includes underwriting, claims management, and executive leadership, giving him a holistic understanding of the industry’s complexities.

At Acera Insurance, Bruce steers the day-to-day operations of the company and its associated entities. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence and integrity. As a founding member of the Canadian Broker Network, Bruce has placed a particular emphasis on partnering with brokerages and companies that value loyalty and a strong Canadian identity. He has been a bulwark against the encroachment of non-Canadian competitors, proudly protecting Acera’s identity as one of only two brokerages that are backed solely by Canadians.
